2.1 Design method of grid structure

(1) Classification according to structural composition

Under this type, there are mainly the following three grid structures, and their respective design methods are as follows:

The first is a double-layer grid, that is, a structure with upper and lower layers of chords, which is the simplest and most commonly used grid structure. 

The second is a three-layer grid, that is, a layer of chords is added in the middle on the basis of the double-layer grid. When the span of the grid is ≤ 50m, this design method can be considered as appropriate; if the span is ≤ 80m, it is necessary to Its as a priority design scheme. 

The third type is the combined grid, that is, the reinforced concrete slab with good compressive resistance is used to replace the upper chord, and different organizational materials are constructed into the most basic unit of the grid, and finally the grid structure is formed.

  (2) Classification according to grid form

① Quadrangular pyramid system. In this grid system, the upper and lower chords used are obviously square, or designed into a rectangular grid close to the square according to the specific structure of the building, and the upper and lower chords are slightly staggered, usually in half Grid is appropriate. 

②Triangular pyramid system. The basic unit of the grid structure of the triangular pyramid system is a set of triangular vertebral bodies in an inverted posture. In general, with the differences in the arrangement of the triangular pyramid units, the upper and lower chord meshes will thus appear as regular triangles or regular hexagons. 

③Folding grid. In the design process, the folded mesh frame is called a folded plate mesh frame, which is mainly a Quanxing mesh frame structure evolved from the square pyramid mesh frame. When the length-width ratio of the building plane to be constructed is greater than or equal to 2, it can be considered to cancel the long-direction chord, so that the internal force of the grid extends along the short-direction chord, and then a folded grid structure is formed.
