The welding connection material should be matched with the base metal. When two different steel grades are welded, the electrode or wire that matches the lower strength steel grade is used. Welded connections with direct dynamic load or important thick plate welding should use low-hydrogen electrodes, such as E4315, E4316, E5015, E5016 and other models.Fire retardant coatings must be products that have passed the test of the national testing agency and have been approved by the fire department, and must be matched with the primer. The performance, coating thickness and quality requirements of the selected fire retardant coatings should comply with the current national standard "Fireproof Coatings for Steel Structures" (GB14907-2018) and the current national standard "Application Technology of Fireproof Coatings for Steel Structures" (CECS24-2020).
The welding seam quality inspection of the space frames should meet the secondary standard requirements specified in the <<Steel Structure Engineering Construction Quality Acceptance Standards>> (GB50205-2020). The quality level of the weld shall comply with the current national standard “Code for Welding of Steel Structures” GB 50661 The inspection method shall comply with the current national standard “Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structure Engineering” GB 50205. For butt welds with a thickness of less than 6mm, ultrasonic flaw detection shall not be used to determine the weld quality grade.6. When the steel pipe and the sealing plate and the cone head form a rod, the butt welds at both ends are full penetration welds.
